Not so long ago, Spotify introduced a “Create” button in the lower navigation bar. Although the intention was to facilitate the creation of different types of reading lists, a majority of users found the functionality boring. Last month, Android authority found evidence that the streamer planned to make the button optional. The company has now followed and added a new parameter to the application.

Since the option is lit by default, you will have to find the parameter and deactivate it. Spotify explains exactly how to access this parameter on its assistance page. Spotify notes that this parameter is specific to the device, which means that your choice will not synchronize with other devices. You will therefore have to turn off the button on all your devices individually. Once extinguished, the lower navigation bar must return to three buttons you know.
