Taiwan FoxconnThe largest contractual electronics manufacturer in the world, reported on Thursday that its operating profit in the second quarter had increased from 27% from one year to the next, on the strength of its growing artificial intelligence server activity.

The company’s net profit for the second quarter arrived at 44.36 billion dollars, beating SmarttesTimate de LSEG by $ 38.81 billion.
Foxconn, officially called Hon Hai Precision Industry, is the world’s largest manufacturer of Apple iphones and has sought to reproduce its success in the consumer electronics in the AI world.
The company manufactures servers racks designed for IA workloads and has become a key partner of the American chip ai Nvidia.
In a profits report, the company has provided that revenues from its AI server activity would increase by more than 170% from one year to the next during the current quarter.
Foxconn reported on August 5 that he expected in -depth growth in revenues in the third quarter, but noted that the impact of the evolution of global political and economic conditions “would be closely monitored.
On July 30, Foxconn announced that it was participating in the manufacturer of industrial engines Teco Electric & Machinery in a strategic partnership to build AI data centers.
The company has also shown its desire to develop in new areas, including the assembly of electric vehicles and even the manufacture of semiconductors.
