IOS 26 will be one of the largest iOS updates in years, including the new design of the liquid user interface. But beyond the appearance of the interface, the update introduces many smaller but thoughtful features and adjustments to improve your iPhone, some of which can be easily neglected or hidden.
Currently, iOS 26 is available in beta version for public testers and developers. It is on the seventh beta developer and the fourth public version, which means that the final update is almost on our doors. The final update should be released in the coming weeks, lining up with the launch of the iPhone 17.
We have listed all small but notable improvements in beta versions that you can expect to arrive on your iPhone.
Adaptive power notifications
The adaptive power mode is one of the main tools fueled by the AI that made its debut with iOS 26. AI beds the battery level and the use of your iPhone and allows the functionality if necessary, for example when too much power is being drawn. Otherwise, it automatically lights the mode when your battery reaches 20%, and all of this happens in the background without having even been informed.

In the latest beta version, a rocking for adaptive power notifications has been discreetly added, which is linked to the time when the adaptive power is activated. When they are on, users will be informed that the mode is activated, which is a way to help you keep in the loop, so you can apply all the necessary adjustments.
Adaptive food is powered by Apple Intelligence, so it is available for the iPhone 15 Pro (MAX) and subsequent models.
Wi-fi Icon Security in Control Center
There is also a subtle but useful improvement in Wi-Fi security. When you press and keep the Wi-Fi button in the control center, it will now display a list of Wi-Fi networks available with a safety icon for password protected networks. Networks without the security icon are generally open and less secure. This prevents users from connecting to unmarked networks.

Lentil cleaning alert
Another small but significant addition in iOS 26 is the lens cleaning indices. This uses AI to detect stains or dirt on your iPhone’s camera lenses and alerts the user with a cleaning recommendation.
The parameter is activated by default in the camera settings in the beta stage, so there is a chance that it will be the same in the final update.

Faster passing key creation for websites
A less necessary but crucial security tool added in iOS 26 is the drop in contact websites “in Safari. It is activated by default to check the websites that support Passkeys and offer migration. It will also suggest the creation of stronger passwords and alert users on compromise identification information.
Call screening options
Call screening is one of the exceptional security protections in iOS 26 announced by Apple during WWDC. It is supplied by Apple Intelligence to protect you from unwanted and malicious appellants such as spam and scams, sending you a transcription before you can respond.
In the beta version, Apple has improved it with new call screening options. Inside the telephone application settings, you can choose from the application reasoning options for the call, silence and never. The first option invites appellants to indicate their name and reason before sending a transcription. The option of silence automatically sends filtered calls to voicemail without ringtone, while never allows the calls reported to make.
Characteristic of blood oxygen
Users with an American variant of the Apple Watch and resident in the United States recover the monitoring of blood oxygen. Apple deleted the feature of the Apple Watch Series 9, Watch Ultra 2 and Watch Series 10, and only reactivated it with the recent update iOS 26 Beta and iOS 18.
The function has been redesigned. The Apple Watch will monitor and measure the level of saturation of blood oxygen while users can view them on the paired iPhone. This does not affect non -American Apple watch models and those sold in other countries.
Fresh wallpapers and ringtones
There is also a new set of wallpapers that make their debut with iOS 26. These are already added in one of the beta payments. Users will have original wallpapers such as Sky, Halo, Shadow and Dusk which support a dynamic color change.
