Following the expressive redesign of wider equipment 3 last week, the Google Phone application is now more widely deployed from call cards.
Once available, you will see a call card “Presentation: Personalize how you see your contact when they call” at the top of the Home tab. (You could also be invited to Google contacts for a more direct publishing experience alongside other details.)
In the phone by Google App, this takes you to a “Cache Calle” page that lists all those you have added for quick publishing. This is accessible at any time in the list of telephone application settings (near the bottom).
Once you have selected a contact, you can take a new photo, open your gallery or launch Google Photos to make a selection. In addition to cropping the image and adjusting the frame, you can customize their name at the top with a font and colors carousel.
After setting, this image will appear on incoming and intra-appeal screens as a full screen image. (Keep in mind the solid background sheet for call controls.) With regard to Apple’s implementation or profile images in Google messages, these images are unique to you. Likewise, you cannot define how you appear to other people.
We now see this deployment to stable users with Version 188 of the Google Phone application. It comes next to Pixel 10 and before the expressive launch of equipment 3 with Android 16 QPR1.
