September officially arrived and, with the new month, comes the end of the summer and the start of a fall in charge for Apple. In the coming weeks, there are several key dates to anticipate for Apple fans, even beyond the main event of the iPhone 17 for September 9.
Tuesday, September 9: Fall of fear event
Apple’s annual autumn Keynote starts at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9.
Other announcements will probably include new AirPods Pro 3, Tech -woven iPhone cases, cross -strap accessories for iPhone 17 cases and an Apple Clear case. We must also expect new styles and Apple watch group colors.
Chance Miller and I will be on the spot at Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park for the iPhone / Apple Watch event this year. Look for our practical coverage of all the new Cupertino equipment shortly after the conclusion of live livestream!
Tuesday, September 9: iOS 26 Release Candidates
After the event, the developers and public beta-testers should expect the creations of candidates from iOS 26, iPados 26, Watchos 26, TVOS 26, Visionos 26 and MacOS Tahoe 26. XCODE RC generally arrives at the same time, and App Store Connect generally opens iOS 26 bids this afternoon.
During the speech, we must also learn when Apple plans to officially publish iOS 26 and other software updates, including new versions of Homepod and Airpods.
Friday, September 12: iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro Pre-order Order date
Friday morning at 5 a.m. PT / 8 h, Apple should open pre -orders for iPhone 17 models and new Apple Watch equipment. Expect that carriers deploy the updated transaction promotions in advance. Customers using the iPhone upgrade program can generally perform pre-approbations in the days preceding the morning pre-order.
Monday, September 15: iOS 26 update version date
The official shipping versions of iOS 26, Watchos 26, TVOS 26 and other autumn software updates are likely to arrive the following week. In recent years, Apple has pushed updates on the first Monday after the iPhone event, and the same rate is expected this time.
Monday, September 15-17: IPhone 17 problem, Apple Watch Series 11, Airpods Pro 3 Reviews Embgoes
In the days preceding the launch, the embargo for iPhone 17, Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro 3 should be. Apple has historically timed the embargo decreases for Monday to Wednesday of the launch week, giving the press a chance to publish Deep Dives in new products before the devices are really dispatched.
In 2024, the magazine Embgo for Airpods 4 raised on Monday, the Apple Watch 10 series raised Tuesday, and iPhone 16 and 16 Plus / 16 pro and 16 pro max raised on Wednesday. Will these dates occur for AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3, and iPhone 17 and 17 Air / and 17 pro / 17 Pro Max?
Friday, September 19: release date of iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro
Friday, September 19, should be the first day of store availability for the iPhone 17 and the Apple Watch series.
We can also expect iOS 26.0.1 to arrive before the end of September, and the developer’s beta-testers could see iOS 26.1 Beta 1 before the end of the month.
Beyond September: iPad Pro, Apple Vision Pro, MacBook Pro
Pending October, there is always a chance for a second Apple Apple event, although the press releases for the remaining material updates seem just as probable.
Apple could still update the iPad Pro to the unexpected M5 chip, Apple Vision Pro could see an upgrade of the M4 or M5 chip from M2, and the M5 MacBook Pro configurations were not excluded for a 2025 launch, although they are not ready before spring 2026. We could know more at the time when each of these products will arrive with rumors and reports in September.
As always, the launch of a new series of iphones always opens the door to a new series of rumors of iPhone for the following year. The big news of the 2026 iPhone is that Apple could publish its first foldable iPhone, and the design will probably be inspired by the iPhone 17 air.
