Nothing teases a “redefined” socket on Android 16, coming soon [Video]

As the first alluded earlier this year, nothing says that its Android 16 update is coming soon, with nothing OS 4.0 offering a “redefined” version of the skin.

Nothing skin above Android, nothing from the operating system, is a fairly clean concealment, but with an additional style and features to adapt to the nithing design language. It has evolved over time, with the Notheing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 offering a more refined look and some functional adjustments to the locking screen and fast parameters.

Now, nothing teases the arrival of its Android 16 update, nothing OS 4.0.

This update was tightened for the first time in July in parallel with the launch of Phone (3), with a promise that it would arrive before the end of September. An initial beta version was published a few weeks ago, but without any major change. These apparently arrive, however, as does the new teaser of this week.

In a brief video, nothing said that nothing os 4.0 is “to come” with a “refined” and “redefined” experience. This seems to be largely consistent with updated design elements, with the video showing a new font as well as various icon updates. We do not know if Material 3 expressive will play a role, but it seems that we get a new layer of painting.
