Android 16 QPR1 “No wiping of data” ota begins to deploy on pixel


More than a week after Android 16 QPR1 has become stable, Google is now starting to deploy the OTA update “without erasure of data” to BETA 3.1 testers.

This live update allows you to leave the Android beta program without erasing that deletes all your data.

Access the Settings> System> Software updates> System updates and make sure it says “Exit Android Beta No wiping of data. “The update size is less than 100 MB and provides the safety patch of September 2025.
