Apple has just changed your iPhone important – here’s how to change it

With iOS 26, Apple brings a fairly important change to something that you probably do a lot: take iPhone screenshots.

It still works in the same way – press and publish the lateral button and the volume up button simultaneously – but once you take an iPhone screenshot, you are welcomed with a new preview experience … whether you can or not.

If you don’t like this new preview experience, the good news is that you can change it quite easily.

With iOS 26, full screen glimps are defect for screenshots.

Turn off the searches of the screen shooting

Before iOS 26, the preview of your screenshot appeared as a small preview window at the bottom of the screen. He stayed there for a few seconds and, if he is selected, you can edit (crop or mark) your screenshot, then choose where to save it or simply “copy and delete”. If you have not selected your screenshot, it would disappear and save on your photos application.

With iOS 26, taking a screenshot automatically triggers a full -screen preview page which gives you access to similar editing features as well as Apple intelligence features (if your iPhone supports them) to search for related images or ask Chatgpt what the screenshot is.
