Apple released iOS 26 On September 15, a few months after the company announced it at the World Developer Conference in June. The update has a handful of new features to your iPhone, as calls,, New ringtones And more. The update also brings more customization options to your lock screen.
With the release of iOS 18, you can delete and modify the controls on your lock screen, a welcome upgrade if you have accidentally found yourself by pressing your flashlight control when you put your phone back in your pocket.
With iOS 26, you can move your locking screen widgets, increase the size of your clock and give your wallpaper of the lock screen a 3D space effect.
Here’s how to make these changes to your locking screen and what you need to know about everyone.

Change the clock size of your lock screen
The biggest change iOS 26 brings to your locking screen is the possibility of modifying the size of your clock. The enlarged clock occupies about a third of the screen of my iPhone 16 pro to the maximum, which I like because if I place my phone on a table, I can easily see the time, even without my glasses. But you have to allow what I like to call Big Clock.
Here’s how to extend the clock to your locking screen.
1 and 1 Faucet Parameters.
2 Faucet Wallpaper.
3 and 3 Faucet Personalize Under the locking screen you want to adjust.
Your iPhone will show you that the locking screen and all adjustable elements will be described. Your clock has a thicker tab in the lower right corner of your outline. Press and slide this down to extend your clock to the desired size.
Then you can press the clock and choose if you want the clock to have a glass or solid design, and you can also adjust the color and thickness of the clock. But, after changing the size of the clock, you cannot change the font. Only clock police on the far left can be extended for the moment, but maybe Apple will extend this to other fonts in a future iOS update.
The widget quay of your lock screen can have a new house
Another iOS 26 change brings to your locking screen is the possibility of moving the dock of the locking screen widget. The update allows you to place the quay near the bottom of your locking screen just above your orders.
To move the widget quay of your lock screen, go to Settings> Wallpaper and type Personalize Under the locking screen you want to adjust. Then press and drag the widget quay down your locking screen.
If you develop the clock of your lock screen, your widget quay will automatically be placed at the bottom of the screen and you cannot place it anywhere on your screen.
Spatial effects come to wallpapers
The wallpaper of your lock screen also gets a fun 3D effect that Apple calls a spatial scene. When activated, the space scenes add depth to the elements of your wallpaper – and images – making them appear as if they appear to you. When you move your iPhone around you, these elements will also move.
To transform your lock wallpaper into a space scene, go to Settings> Wallpaper and type Personalize Under the locking screen with which you want to work. Press the hexagon near the upper right side of your screen, and your iPhone will make a space scene from the wallpaper.
It is important to note that the space scenes only work with photos and not on wallpapers that Apple provides, like those under the weather and the Emoji collections.
Orders get color
A fairly small change iOS 26 brings to your locking screen is that it changes the color of the controls near the bottom of your screen. This change is automatically activated in iOS 26, so you just have to add a colorful control, or Create yoursTo bring a touch of color to your locking screen.
Make your Lock screen your own
Apple slowly diverted its grip on the locking screen of your iPhone, giving you more freedom to customize its appearance and how you use it over the years. And iOS 26 is no different.
Being able to enlarge your clock, move the widget quay to more than one position and be able to give your wallpaper a 3D effect are only a few ways that iOS 26 allows you to create your own experience on your iPhone. These features could be improved – like giving you more freedom in the place where you can place your widget quay – but I expect Apple continues to add ways to personalize the locking screen of your iPhone in the future.
