Amazon unveils the new generation echo range in large overhaul

Today, Amazon has organized its highly anticipated material event, where it has made several announcements. Among these announcements, there was the disclosure of new generation of the company’s new generation speakers and smart speakers. What’s new with Amazon’s reworked echo devices? We break down all of this below.

During today’s event, Amazon revealed Four new Echo devices: The Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11. For these devices, the electronic commerce giant designed two chips – AZ3 and AZ3 Pro – intended to manage the company’s AI. The Echo Dot Max has received AZ3, which, according to Amazon, feeds the microphones network, supports free flow conversations with Alexa Plus and filters background noise and improves Alexa’s capacity to detect alarm words of more than 50%. Meanwhile, the rest of the new range of products at the Az3 Pro chip, which adds management of language models and vision transformers in addition to the capacities of AZ3.

In addition to the new silicon, these devices will have omnissen. As Amazon explains, Omnisesense is a personalized sensor platform designed for Amiagie IA, allowing Alexa to act intelligently to the events of the house. For example, with this technology, Alexa can send you a recall when a specific person enters the room. Or the assistant can alert you if the garage door is unlocked after a while.

The Echo Dot Max is a whole new Echo device which, according to Amazon, has three times the bass of the Echo point (5th generation). With this additional bass is a bidirectional speaker system with a high excursion woofer and a personalized tweeter, a first for the echo points line. The company also eliminated the separate speaker module, building the speaker directly in the accommodation.

As for the new Echo studio, Amazon has managed to reduce the intelligent speaker by 40% compared to the original. This device has a high excursion woofer and three full -range drivers. You should be able to obtain a complete immersive sound of this equipment. It also offers an audio space support and Dolby Atmos.

Amazon adds that you can connect up to five Echo Studio or Max Dot devices with a compatible fire stick. These devices will also be available in Alexa Home Theater Bundles.

The last two Echo products are the Echo 8 show and the biggest Echo 11 show. Amazon has reorganized the screens on these devices, combining a cell touch and a negative liquid crystal design. The company claims that this allowed it to reduce the layers of rolling, maximize the viewing angle and improve clarity. You also get a 13MP camera and a new audio architecture (front-oriented stereo speakers, full-range drivers and a personalized woofer).

In addition to material improvements, Amazon offers these devices some new features:

• Entertainment: A new media control center where you can cover music, ambient sounds, podcasts and books in dedicated pages. This hub will also allow you to read content with a single tap and manage reading on several devices.
• Alexa Plus Home: A new smart house experience to control all of your connected devices, see the summaries of the events of your ring flows in the ring, and more.
• Home organization: The calendars are now coded by color and Alexa can help manage planning conflicts, organize your task lists and suggest actions according to its capacities.
• Shopping essentials: A new Alexa Plus shopping widget where you can keep track of your deliveries, reorganize products and consult the information on the products.
• Health and well-being: You can connect your Oura account to make Alexa making personalized suggestions. For example, you could ask Alexa to suggest quick training depending on your schedule or push you when you approach your optimal sleep window. Amazon says it will soon add more partners, such as Withings and Wyze.

Availability

The four Echo devices are available in pre -order from today. THE Echo Dot Max And Echo Studio will cost you $ 99.99 and $ 219.99, respectively. These devices will be on sale on October 29.

You can expect to pay $ 179.99 for the Echo Show 8 and $ 219.99 for the Echo Show 11. The general availability for the two products will open on November 12. Amazon adds that American customers will get Alexa Plus Early Access Off of the Box with any purchase of these new devices.
