What can visual intelligence do on screenshots?
Apple’s visual intelligence is practical to translate the panels, compose telephone numbers, identify plants or benchmarks and draw commercial information. So far, however, this has only worked by the camera. Apple deleted this limitation by cooking visual intelligence directly in its new screenshot interface. Now, any screenshot can be analyzed with AI on an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 or more recent.

When you capture a screenshot, the complete screen preview includes new buttons to ask Chatgpt content or obtain contextual information such as translations, the possibility of selecting, copying and summarizing the text, call numbers, providing cards, adding to the calendar, etc. You can even select a specific part of the screenshot to perform a similar or inverted image search.
How to deactivate the previews in full screen
Don’t you like the new screen experience? You can quickly turn it off and return to the miniature workflow.
- Open the parameters.
- Press General.
- Choose the screenshot.
- Turn over the full screen.
Can I still mark if I deactivate the previews in full screen?
Yes. Simply press the sticker in the area after taking a screenshot, and you will get the full preview and all of its editing options.
How to leave a complete overview
You can reject a complete overview of the moment when it appears or when you have finished changing the screenshot.
- Take a screenshot.
- When the full screen preview appears, slide up to bottom (or press fact in the upper corner).
Do full screen glimps automatically save?
Yes. Even if you slide the preview, the screenshot is always saved on your photos application.
What other screen capture options can I try?
When you are in the screenshot of the parameters> general, consult some of the new options available:
- HDR screenshots: Saves HIF format captures with a richer color.
- Carplay screenshots: allows you to capture CarPlay interfaces when connected.
- Visual search: available on iPhone 15 pro and more recent, for object recognition and AI information.
