Given the choice between Bandcamp, Deezer, SoundCloud, Tidal and YouTube, the Google music application has come out by a wide margin. Tidal came to a distant second with around 17% of the votes, followed by Deezer at 11%, with Bandcamp and Soundcloud dragging around 11% and 8%, respectively.
Which of these spotify alternatives do you think you are the best?
“Other” collected more votes than Bandcamp or Soundcloud at almost 9%. Comments on our article containing the ballot towards popular options like Amazon Music and Apple Music, as well as small players in space, including Pandora and Qobuz. Some options I had never heard of also appeared: Music Player Musicolet, and Ibroadcast, an application that allows you to download and then broadcast your own audio files like Google Play Music.
I am not too surprised to see the Youtube music in first place here, although I would not necessarily have stopped expecting that half of all the votes. What do you think? Does this distribution make sense to you? Do you use a different application that we have not mentioned? Let us know in the comments.
