Apple has deployed iOS 26.1 Beta 2 for iPhones, as well as new developer Bettas for its other operating systems.
The Beta 2 iOS 26.1 update provides several improvements, changes in the careful user interface and bogues corrections to the iPhone. In the latest beta update, alarms and timers get a new “Slide to Stop” button instead of the TAP option.

IOS 26.1 BETA 2 has a new switch under Privacy & Security in the settings that allows users to download and automatically install safety fixes. The fitness application now supports the creation of personalized training.
Meanwhile, iPados 26.1 Beta 2 reintroduces multitasking feature and adds a new option to adjust the input gain for external microphones connected to the iPad.
Apple also published the Beta 2 update for MacOS 26.1 Tahoe, Watchos 26.1, TVOS 26.1 and Visionos 26.1 alongside the iOS 26.1 and iPados 26.1 updates.
