For example, you can tell Maps, “Show me the closest Chinese restaurant that’s still open this late” and the app will be able to understand the full context of that prompt, not just the keywords.

One of the features is called Visited Places, and it basically works in the background, remembering all the places you’ve visited. If you’re the type who easily forgets stores and restaurants you’ve visited at least once, this will save you from having to retrace your steps by showing you places you’ve visited. The other feature is called Favorite Routes.
Just like the places visited, this also maps your daily movements and routes. However, this feature is more useful in many ways, as it can alert you to problems on the roads you travel that could delay your trip. If you adapt your routine to your destination, the Maps app will give you options to get there as quickly as possible.
