So, over the past week, I’ve been asking questions about what you, dear readers, are looking for in smartphones, which iPhone 17 model you chose, whether iPhones are overrated, and more. But I just realized that I didn’t ask the most basic question: are you iPhone or Android?
As you’ll see from our best phones list and our best iPhones and best Android phones support lists, TechRadar’s Phones team is open to great smartphones from both camps.
However, I’m curious what phones you use. As a reader of TechRadar, I can assume that you will have a passing interest in consumer technology, or even be a die-hard fan of technology. And conventional wisdom would say that people who just want a good smartphone that does everything well and smoothly will opt for an iPhone, while those who want to dig deeper into their phone and customize it to the hilt will opt for an Android phone.
However, things have changed. Android phones now have much of iOS’s nifty software DNA, while iPhones have started to open up a little more. So it’s hard for me to guess with much confidence which phones TechRadar readers and visitors are using.
And so it’s up to you. Vote in the poll below, then head to the comments and tell me why you chose the phone you own.
If all of this makes you think you’re ready for an upgrade to your phone or a swap to another platform, may I suggest you keep an eye on the Black Friday deals, because I think this might just be the perfect time to go hunting for a good deal on the phone.
