Swedish industrial manufacturer Alfa Laval has opened its new innovation center in Flemingsberg, Sweden, a move that demonstrates an increased focus on creating sustainable solutions for the healthcare and biopharmaceutical sectors.

The company, which has 140 years of history, inaugurated its new facilities at an event bringing together its customers, partners and industry leaders, showcasing its latest technologies.

Alfa Laval CEO and President Tom Erixon and Swedish Minister for European Affairs Jessica Rosencrantz were on hand for the official opening of the center.

This investment not only strengthens Alfa Laval’s Swedish roots, located close to its 19th century origins, but also establishes Flemingsberg as its global separator development platform, with a clear ambition for the pharmaceutical sector.
