Android 15 represents 4.5% of devices before Samsung updates


In early April, Google published the latest Android distribution numbers. The last update took place 11 months earlier, Android 15 making its debut in these statistics.

As of April 1, Android 15 represented 4.5% of the devices. The new version was published in AOSP in early September. This should include stable versions of pixel (mid-October), OnePlus and nothing. During this period, Samsung tested a beta a user interface 7, but it has just launched in recent weeks.

The majority of devices – 27.4% – still perform Android 14.

At this stage, Google publishes distribution statistics once or twice a year via Android Studio. It is based on the number of devices connected to the Play Store within seven days.
