Meta officially launched an autonomous Meta AI application for users of Android and iOS, presenting new powerful features such as bidirectional vocal conversations and a flow of social discovery. The application is free via the Play Store and the App Store and aims to make the interaction IA more fun and more personal.
Vocal conversations with Meta AI are now possible
One of the greatest protruding facts of the new Meta AI application is its vocal chat mode, allowing users to have a hands -free conversation with the chatbot. Powered by the new LLAMA 4 model, the functionality supports verbal responses and even allows users to generate or modify images via voice.
Meta also experiences the technology of complete speech, where AI speaks directly without converting text into voice. This mode seems more human, but does not currently support web access in real time. Vocal mode is only available in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand for the moment.
Discover Feed adds a social touch to AI
Unlike other AI applications, the Meta version is delivered with a discovery flow – a place where users can share IA prompts, image generations and chatbot responses. Others may love, comment or remix these messages, creating a unique social experience around AI.
Users must connect using their Facebook or Instagram accounts, allowing Meta AI to adapt a more personalized chatbot experience by referring to their past activity and conversations.
Integration of smart glasses with the Meta AI application
Meta also merges its Meta View application (used for Smart Ray-Ban glasses) in the new AI application. This means that users can access intelligent glasses features such as image editing, access to galleries and cat history via the Meta AI application.
In supported countries, conversations have started on Ray-Ban meta-lunes can now continue in the application or on the website.
Free for all without subscriptions
The Meta AI application is completely free to use, without paid subscriptions or premium levels. While many features are still limited to certain countries, Indian users can try the application now and explore its text -based AI capacities.
