Governor Hobbs promulgates the Bitcoin reserve a few days after having opposed his veto to another cryptography bill


Phoenix – The Governor of Arizona Katie Hobbs signed House Bill 2749 On Wednesday, by establishing a reserve of reserve of assets and digital networks managed by the State which will hold un requained digital assets and features of features – five days after having opposed its veto to a separate cryptocurrency bill.

Supporters say that it is a new class of assets that can be defined as “digital gold”, and it is a reserve of value and coverage in an ever -increasing offer in world silver. Supporters also indicate the increase in the Bitcoin price as the most efficient in history, the one that had already been retained due to the regulations – so far.

President Trump promised to create a Bitcoin strategic reserve. He appointed a Tsar Crypto in David Sacks. Now, individual states are involved.

Tuesday, the governor of New Hampshire, Kelly Ayotte, signed a bill making his state first to allow him to invest in public funds in crypto reserves.

Recently, the Arizona legislature approved Bill 1025 of the SenateThis would have allowed the state’s retirement fund to invest in virtual currencies such as Bitcoin – allowing it to put up to 10% of state funds in cryptocurrency.

However, he was opposed to the veto by Hobbs on Friday to preserve the strength of the pension system of the state of Arizona.

In a letter to the Arizona Senate, Hobbs said: “Arizona’s pension funds are not the place where the state is trying not tested investments such as virtual currency.”

Several other states are considering a strategic reserve using Bitcoin, and Wisconsin Pension Fund would now include Bitcoin.
