Google today previewed the Android new generation versionwhich has a more expressive updated design language and a range of new features. One of the main new additions is live updates, a functionality that reflects live activity on the iPhone.
Live updates allow Android users to follow the real -time applications for real -time applications, a bit like live activity. Google says that live updates will work with the main delivery, driving and navigation sharing applications.
With live activity, incoming food deliveries, sports games and more can be followed from the iphone locking screen or with the dynamic island, and Google’s functionality works in a similar way. Android users will see live updates on the lock screen and the home screen and can press a menu bar option for more information.
Google reorganizes Android with an interface focused on color, movement and haptics, and it will be interesting to see how it compares to the IOS 19 overhaul of the rumor that Apple has in preparation.
Google has taken some Apple clues on security, adding a search center similar to search for research to follow people, items and devices, Google even teams up with airlines for luggage recovery. There is also an advanced protection option that looks like locking mode, offering additional guarantees against malware and suspicious contacts for journalists and politicians.
