So, I was worth around the Samsung stand at the week of the 2025 display week today, thinking that I would probably not find much in smartphones, when I suddenly fell on a really interesting phone: the foldable Samsung Polygon.
He has been flying a little under the radar for a few months, so it was an exciting discovery. The best part? Our friends from Samsung deleted the display box and allowed us to go by hand with it!
He certainly has a unique design language, recalling a Tesla Cybertruck. I hate it or that I love, it’s really interesting, and it doesn’t look like any of the other foldable flip phones that we saw. My first impression was that it seemed very solid and had a very good weight. It makes sense, however. This mainly metallic body will undoubtedly add a little weight, but it was good, or at least I prefer it when the phones have a good weight.

Of course, this also means that the front screen becomes a little smaller. It didn’t bother me, given that the fun look and construction added so much to the experience. By the way, I was able to use it, but the experience is far from being polite. In fact, the user interface in external and internal screens seemed a little wobbly. In addition, the external cameras were false and actually showed the display under them, instead of having real cameras.
It is certainly not a fully functional device. I have the impression that it was roughly a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 for which the company emptied and created a new cool design, without worrying about many other than appearance.
That said, we must keep in mind that this is a concept design phone. Samsung has fun with a different aesthetic and try to show what its foldable display technology can do. It also means that, like most other conceptual products, it will probably not be on the market. Or will he do it? It all depends on Samsung, but it seems honestly unlikely. I know I want it to do, however. In fact, I liked it very much!
Would you buy a foldable Samsung Polygon if it happened on the market? It would be fine with your cybertruck, if you have one! Of course, we must realize that we will probably not be able to buy it. I suppose that we will have to settle with one of the fantastic options on our list of the best foldable phones at the moment.
