Samsung is getting closer to an investment in the AI Perplexity research startup which would also see the Korean technology giant incorporating AI company technology in its devices, Bloomberg reported, citing anonymous sources.
As one of the largest investors in the new IA fund collection round, Samsung discusses the application and the perplexity assistant preinstalled on its phones and incorporating its research features within the default browser, according to the report.
Companies also discuss the power of PERPLexity AI technology some of the Samsung’s own features, Bixby, reported Bloomberg, adding that the partnership could be unveiled this year.
Samsung and Perplexity did not immediately return the requests for comments.
