Apple hides a new ringtone in iOS 26.
The new ringtone is an alternative version of the existing reflection ringtone, which has been the default ringing since the release of the iPhone X in 2017. It was discovered in the code of the first beta developer of iOS 26, but it remains hidden, you will not find it in the list of ringtones available in the parameter application for the moment.
It is not clear if Apple goes ahead with the release of the ringtone in a subsequent beta iOS 26 version.
The new ringtone was shared on X yesterday by account @ 8810cfwin a post which was then republished by the account Shrimp.
Macrumors Contributor Aaron Perris also confirmed the existence of the ringtoneAnd he hypothesized that he could make his debut on the iPhone 17 models later this year.
