Google has very recently shown its prototypes of Android XR glasses, and a new image shows the companion application that looks like what we know as Pixel Watch, while calling “Martha” glasses.
The first breakup coverage at the end of last year and after being used in several demos in person, the prototypes of Android XR glasses from Google have not yet received a name. Apparently, however, they could be called “Martha” internally, because a new image shows Google’s application in Android XR glasses.
The application, shown in a photo that has been spotted by SedansRefers to “Google Martha” glasses with a second line again using the name “Martha” in an indicator that makes it look like a code name for the device. It comes from a Glasses demo Back at IS / S, but the name “Martha” had not been noted before that.
The application itself looks like a naked version of the Pixel Watch application, with the same basic layout. Application sections include:
- Notifications
- Parameters
- Record your view
- Quick feedback
- Report a problem
It is quite obvious that it is an unfinished application which means only for those who test the glasses (of which I am supremely jealous), but it is also funny to see that Google has essentially used the OS of the Pixel Watch application to do it.
These glasses are, once again, only a prototype for the moment, but they are the foundation of a pair of glasses that Samsung will be released next year.
