Apple AirPods and Beats headphones get a “Pause Media break during falling asleep” via the last update on iOS 26, which automatically deactivates reading content on wireless clothing.
This feature is only available for two devices, limited to Wearable AirPods and the Beats series.
This feature will detect if a user has already fallen asleep by playing a song or by broadcasting other types of content, and he automatically pauses everything that is played.

Macrumors reported That Apple feature highlighted during its WWDC 2025 event is now available with the update of iOS 26. Steve MoserA Macrumors contributor, recently discovered the code.
The new feature “Pause Media during falling asleep” for AirPods and Beats headphones offers users a way to automatically deactivate the game supports that are disseminated through their wireless headphones.
Users who fall asleep would find their songs, audio books or podcasts automatically stopped by the functionality when they detect them to repeat for the night (or at any time of the day) as long as the functionality is activated.
iOS 26 to take a break by playing the content when users fall asleep
Users can now use the “Pause Media break during sleeping” when the IOS 26 beta test is junction, and it requires an update of the latest version of Apple. It has been revealed that this feature would be automatically activated when using eligible airpods or beaten helmets.
Alternatively, users can find this feature on the parameter application under “Media pause when falling asleep” to activate or extinguish it.
