Leak advice in upcoming features, modifications for Apple cards under iOS 26

The Apple MAPS application can have new interesting features that have moved to it.

According to 9tomac and the developer Steve Moser, certain code references that have been discovered in the IOS 26 beta version pointed out towards natural language, improved research and thermal management for the next version of the application.

Moser listed the following:

“Look for the way you talk
Use natural language to find places like “the best coffees with free wi-fi”. »»

The new feature “Searching for the way you speak” is powered by Apple Intelligence and has made a big difference in the applications that implemented it.

The second discovery of Moser addressed the following points:

  • In addition to research improvements, there is also a copy pointing to a new thermal functionality oriented by users who will be particularly useful during navigation per turn:
  • The cards will no longer keep your screen to allow your iPhone to cool.
  • Currently, Apple Maps obliges the iPhone screen to stay in progress during active navigation to ensure that the instructions are always visible. However, this can contribute to overheating, in particular by a sunny day with the device mounted on a dashboard and the load.

To date, these features have not yet been available in the current IOS 26 beta, and these are follow -up features that arrive with iOS 26.1 or iOS 26.2.

Stay listening for more details as they become available.
