Three major banks have registered in the digital payment and trial payment systems as part of a Bank of Australia reserve project to test how blockchain infrastructure could improve transactions treatment.
Commonwealth Bank will work with JPMorgan in a test to see how technology can revise the financing markets, while Westpac will study how to allow people to transform with digital tokens on existing applications. Anz plans to make bond transactions using a central bank digital currency.
