Los Angeles – A new actress takes the spotlight in Hollywood, and he triggered a debate among the actors. This is because this actress is not real. They are an AI called Tilly Norwood.
The actors express themselves, responding to the reports that several talent agencies are interested in signing the actress of the AI.
Tilly Norwood can look like any other budding actress. She has a Instagram page Showing its screen tests, alongside free moments.
She even published a video on Facebook which, she said, presents her first role on the camera.
But Tilly Norwood is not a real actress – she is a character generated by artificial intelligence.
Its creator says that it attracts very real attention.
Eline Van der Velden directs the AI talent company which made Tilly. She says: “When we launched Tilly for the first time, people said to themselves:” What is it? And now we are going to announce which agency will represent it. “”
But this announcement is not well seated with many Hollywood stars.
Emily Blunt said, “It’s really, really scary. Come on, agencies. Don’t do that.”
Marvel Star Simu Liu said: “The films are great, but you know what would be better, it is if the characters were not played by real humans but by replicas of AI approaching human emotion.”
Whoopi Goldberg said: “You are suddenly confronted with something that has been generated with 5,000 other actors. It was given all this … You know, it is the attitude of Bette Davis, it is this, it is the humor of Humphrey Bogart. So, it’s a bit of an unfair advantage.”
Van der Velden insists on the fabric “.. is not a replacement for a human being, but a creative work – a work of art. The characters of the AI should be judged in the context of their own genre, on their own merits, rather than compared directly to human actors.”
Barely a few months ago, Van der Velden said that she wanted Tilly to be the next Natalia Portman or Scarlet Johannsen.
The fashion industry is also under control. Guess and J.Crew were criticized to present AI models.
