AI is dangerous and ‘either we win or China’

Palantant CEO Alex Karp said the arms race for artificial intelligence between the United States and China will end in a country in mind.

“My general bias on AI is that it is dangerous,” Karp told CNBC on Thursday. “There are positive and negative consequences, and either we win, or China will win.”

Karp was a vocal defender of the domination of the American AI. He told CNBC in January that the country had to “run stronger, run faster” in an “effort from all countries” to develop more advanced AI models.

In a recent letter to the shareholders, he also praised Palantir’s commitment to equip and improve the interests of American defense.
