The anthropogenic CPO Mike Krieger, who also co -founded Instagram, said the job market will be difficult for new graduates.
Krieger told the New York Times “Hard Fork” Podcast on Friday that Anthropic is rather focused on hiring experienced engineers. He said he had “a certain hesitation” with entry -level workers.
To a certain extent, it is a reflection of the internal structure of Anthropic, which does not yet support a “very good internship program”, said Krieger. Internships have long been the golden ticket for entry -level lucrative technological jobs.
But it also shows how AI upsets the labor market, even in IA companies. While AI continues to evolve, Krieger said that the role of entry -level engineers would change.
During a recent episode of the Podcast 20VC, Krieger said that software engineers could see their work evolve over the next three years while coders externalize their work more at AI.
