AI scam hits White House: ‘Nobody can impersonate Susie Wiles,’ says Trump

Several officials of the US government have received messages from a person who imitates Susie Wiles, chief of staff to President Donald Trump. Trump said Wiles is an incredible woman and that she can manage this. The American authorities began the investigation.“They raped the phone; they tried to identify it,” Trump told journalists on Friday. “No one can identify it. There is only one Susie.”Susie Wiles was previously co-management of Trump’s campaign before playing the role of chief of staff in the new administration. As reported by the Wall Street Journal, governors, business officials and senators began to receive SMS and telephone calls while the imitator had access to their contact details via the Wile phone. However, SMS and calls did not go through the Wile number. The voice looked like that of Wiles and could have been generated by artificial intelligence, suggest that people who received telephone calls. Some thought that text messages came from the White House officials. But it is still quite nebulous about how someone had access to the Wile phone.Earlier this month, the FBI had warned in a public service announcement of a malicious campaign in which unidentified “malicious actors” called and sent messages usurped by senior government officials. This campaign depends mainly on artificial intelligence, aimed at dumbling government officials, according to the FBI.FBI director Kash Patel said: “The safeguarding of our officials of our administration to communicate safely to accomplish the president’s mission is an absolute priority.”Last year, Iran also had access to Trump’s campaign, sensitive internal documents, including a file on the vice-president JD Vance.
