Alibaba has announced her intention to publish a pair of intelligent glasses powered by her AI models. Quark AI glasses are Alibaba’s first foray into the Smart Glasses product category.

Alibaba On Monday, unveiled a pair of intelligent glasses powered by its artificial intelligence models, marking the first foray into the Chinese company in the product category.
The electronic commerce giant said that Quark AI glasses will be launched in China by the end of 2025 with equipment powered by the company’s large Qwen language model and its advanced AI assistant called Quark.
The Hangzhou company, whose head office is one of the leaders in Chinese AI space, aggressively launching new models with capacities that compete with Western counterparts like Openai.
Many technological companies see portable clothes, especially glasses, such as the next frontier of computer science alongside the smartphone. Quark, published this year, is currently available as an application in China. Alibaba enters the material game as a way to distribute the application more widely.
AI Quark Glasses are Alibaba’s response to Meta’s intelligent glasses that were designed in collaboration with Ray-Ban. The Chinese technology giant will also compete with the Chinese public electronics player Xiaomi Who this year has published his own AI glasses.
Alibaba said her glasses will support hands -free calls, music streaming, language translation in real time and transcription of Reunion. Glasses also have an integrated camera.
Alibaba has a range of different services in China, from mapping to an online travel agent. His affiliation company Ant Group also manages the Mobile service Alipay widely used. Alibaba has said that users will be able to use a navigation service via glasses, pay with Alipay and shop on Taobao, its electronic commerce platform in China.
The company has not yet published other details such as the price and technical specifications.
