We have seen the future, and the future is more elegant, thinner and much less Bloaty. Hidden in Android 16 are a multitude of user interface modifications (IU) that will shake the Android design language when they are put online. Whenever it is.
Nothing is yet concrete
Overall, the look is less caricaturally sparkling than the current and most elegant Android user interface. It seems that the current Android increased a long time ago, and a few bottles of pepto-bismol later, it begins to relax.
The volume cursor and the notification shelf have been reduced, and the locking screen wins a dynamic color, that is to say when the colors can change to better correspond to the color diagram chosen by your device (theme). The parameters application also gains color icons.
At the top, the status bar takes up newly designed icons for things like Wi-Fi and the level of the battery, and the fast parameter panel earns a blurred background and adjustments concerning the appearance of icons and cursors.
“Before you start, a word of prudence,” covered Android authority in the declaration of news. “What we are about to show that you are hidden design modifications found in Android 16 Beta 4. None of these elements is activated by default in Beta 4, and we do not know with certainty when Google activates them.”
Presentation of Android’s future
The beta version refers to beta tests, a passout process for software in which changes receive real tests on a limited basis to verify conviviality, performance, bugs and all kinds of hidden problems that could cause chaos or inoperability.
Once the beta tests discover defects, which are then fixed, this development phase ends, and all the necessary modifications are wrapped in a stable version of the software, which is then postponed to everyone.
Beta 4 is the final beta version of Android 16, after which the stable version of Android 16 will be driven live to Android devices. Although these design features have been found hidden in Android 16 Beta 4, there is no guarantee that Google (Android developer) thinks that user interface changes are ready to be put online in the stable version of Android 16.
“Although it is very likely that we will not see this complete overhaul in the stable version of Android 16, parts or all could appear in a future quarterly update”, ” Android authority thoughtful.
Google was known to go far on a path before calling the whole plan, but after reaching the penultimate stage before a stable version, it seems much more likely that these changes come than otherwise. When this is the case, we cannot say with certainty. No one outside of Google knows it.
They can be put online at a given time during the lifespan of Android 16 after the day of the exit, or perhaps Google will wait Android 17. My personal supposition is the first, but I mainly put the tail on the donkey with this supposition.
