Apple adds hidden Apple Music feature via IOS 26

JAKARTA Apple added many new features to Apple Music through the iOS 26 update. One of the features added by Apple was the ability to embed music at the top of the library.

This feature can integrate up to six favorite music lists or albums. While this feature is a big change for Apple Music, it turns out that Apple is secretly adding another option to the feature.

This hidden feature can be seen if the user taps on the built-in playlist or album. They will see the Tap Actions menu with three options. There is Open Playlist/Album/Artis, Play or Shuffle option.

This flexibility is there to simplify user actions on each pin. As the name suggests, the selected action can directly open the built-in items, play songs in them randomly, or play them in a sequence.

Once the user selects one of the options, the next action will correspond to what they chose. However, by default, the entire playlist or album will be set to the Open action that drives the item’s page.

This is a very cool feature and one that might never have been expected before. Usually, when tapping on a built-in album or playlist, users can only see a list of songs on that page.

However, they can now get a variety of different actions thanks to Tap Action. If you want to benefit from this feature, make sure to update the device to iOS 26 first.
