Apple delays the release of two improved AI-IOS 27 applications

We already have a good idea of To which to expect from Apple this Monday when the keynote of WWDC starts at 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. PM). We also have a good idea of what not to expect that Apple reveals after having pushed the beginnings of Siri “personal”. You may remember the announcement that has shown that actress Bella Ramsey is panic because she did not remember the name of this boy she had met in a cafe a few months ago. She asked Siri and the digital assistant spent by her texts, emails and other applications to obtain the name.
Due to the delay which repels the release of Siri Personal, Apple shot the ad. At this stage, it is difficult to know exactly when the “personal” and more “AI” features will arrive at Apple Digital Assistant. All the indications indicate a publication of these features for Siri one day in the middle at the end of 2026. Apple also had to delay new features that would allow Siri to understand what was on your display and use this knowledge to respond to requests. The possibility of using SIRI to control integrated applications and features has also been postponed by Apple.
A more advanced version of Siri, nicknamed LLM Siri (for the model of large Siri language) could be up to two years. This would allow Siri to operate in the same way as generative AI applications such as Chatgpt and Gemini. Currently, on the executed iPhone models Apple Intelligence, Siri will send questions to which he cannot answer Chatgpt after asking you first if it’s okay.

According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Improved AI versions of the Calendar application and the Health application will not be mentioned on WWDC This year. The two applications will be pushed back to iOS 27 (you always seem weird to say, right?). Although there are smaller changes to the two applications this year, the majority of updates will come in 2026 to iOS 27 which received the code name from Buttercup (which undoubtedly makes you think of the 1968 tube “Build Me Up Buttercup” by foundations). The nickname MacOS 27, which is expected to be released next year, is HoneyCrisp.
Remember that the IOS 26 BETA should be published immediately after Monday’s speech. Make sure you are registered with Apple Beta software and at the end of the coverage, go to Parameters > General > Software update. Make sure your data is saved before installing the beta version. As a rule, the first beta version of a brand new iOS construction is fairly buggy, so get warned.
