Apple is preparing to publish iOS 18.7 for compatible iPhone models, according to evidence of the update in the Macrumors Visitors’ newspapers.
We expect iOS 18.7 to be published in September, alongside iOS 26. The update will likely include fixes for security vulnerabilities, but few others.
IOS 18.7 will be one of the latest updates never published for the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR, because these devices are not compatible with iOS 26.
iOS 26 is compatible with the iPhone 11 and more recent.
After months of beta tests, iOS 26 finally approaches a version, the update likely to be made available to the general public to mid-September.
