Like the next season of EuphoriaThe names of Apple operating systems are about to jump over time, Bloomberg reported this week.
Apple refused to comment on the point of sale. But, according to Bloomberg’s Apple expert, Mark Gurman, as part of a wider software overhaul:
- The next updates to current software systems of the technology giant – iOS 18, macOS 15, Watchos 12, TVOS 18 and Visionos 2 – in September will be named iOS 26, MacOS 26, etc.
- The change will pinpoint Apple’s software updates to the next calendar year rather than their version number, similar to the way sports cars and video games like 2K are labeled.
- Apple will unveil its marks updated on June 9 at its world development conference (WWDC). Industry observers expect iOS / OS 26 streamline The appearance of applications, icons and other features on devices for a more cohesive multi-screen.
