Apple’s application review delays the return of the game to iOS, says the CEO of Epic Games

According to Epic Games Manager, Fortnite updates its content regularly. For this reason, it must include the same version in all formats. The version of Fortnite submitted to Apple was going to be obsolete by May 16. This led to Epic Games withdraw its submitted version and, on May 14, five days after its original submission, submit it with new content to ensure multiplatform compatibility. If the new version is not approved, other platforms may not obtain the Fortnite update due to compatibility problems.

The CEO said: “Update: we have to publish a weekly update of Fortnite with new content this Friday, and all platforms must update simultaneously. We have therefore drawn the previous version of Fortnite submitted to Apple App Review last Friday, and we submitted a new revision version.”
