The public beta version of the iOS 26 is out, and some early indicators say that it is a game change. The deepest update is perhaps a new transparent user interface, which allows users to see the background colors and the elements behind the page with which they are currently interacting. Users can also personalize this functionality to modify the transparency of the window, for an optimal effect.
The new IOS 26 camera application has also been redesigned to facilitate selfie lovers to take pictures of one hand. Apple moved the iPhone trigger button and other vital functions closer to the thumb area on the screen. We do not know if the application can automatically differential between right-handed users and left-handed at this stage, but some testers have confirmed that it is currently optimized for right use only. Hopefully this is changing in the final version.
The Camera application has been equipped with a rocking switch which also allows users to choose the “classic mode”.
The message application has also been updated with new sophisticated parameters. For example, the background image of a cat can now be modified in gallery images or images from an existing list. When you discuss WhatsApp or Discord, you can easily see who is taping; which is a popular addition. The good news is that this useful feature will arrive on the iPhone message application.
The mail application was also slightly reorganized for a more user -friendly user experience. Several other features have also been added, but you may have to wait for public release to fully appreciate them.
If you want to take some of these new features for a tour, you will have to go to the latest public iOS 26 version. However, the upgrade can be risky, then save your iPhone before taking the plunge. Once you have saved a backup, go to the Apple website using the Safari browser and log in with your password or your crossing key. Then open your Settings application > General > Software update > Beta updates > IOS 26 Public Beta. Follow the on -screen instructions to complete the process. It is worth noting that it is the second public beta of iOS 26. The first was published last month.
