IOS 26 arrived on iPhones two weeks ago, providing major improvements, including the liquid glass user interface. Apple has corrected this vulnerability in iOS 26.0.1 for iPhones and iPads, and in MacOS Sonoma 14.8.1 for Macs and MacBooks. Ancient devices performing the latest supported software also received the security correction, although via a set of different operating systems.
iOS 26.0.1 Corrects several iphone 17 bugs
Apple also addresses several bugs in iOS 26 with this update. These include fixes for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity unstable on the latest iPhone 17 (Pro) and iPhone Air. Many users have reported frequent disconnections and unequal connections, especially when using Apple Carplay. The update also solves cell connectivity problems affecting certain iPhone models.
