If you listen to the audio using Beating Or Airpods When you go to bed, iOS 26 has a new feature useful for you. The update adds an option “Media on break during sleeping it” which is designed to turn off your headphones when you are no longer awake to listen.
Apple mentioned the functionality at its global conference for developers, but it has been highlighted as AirPods feature. Code discovered by Macrumors Contributor Steve Moser suggests that the option is also available for Beats headphones.
The option of taking an audio break when sleeping saves your place in an audio book or a podcast, but it should also preserve the battery life by preventing your headphones from staying overnight.
The audio break must be lit by default when you install ios 26, but it can be activated by connecting your helmet to your iPhone, then pressing them on the Settings application. Apple did not explain how beats or airpods detect that you fell asleep.
You will need ios 26 to use the option, the more the updated firmware than Apple is a beta test. Ios 26 is limited to developers, but a public beta version is coming soon. The update will be launched in September.
