Today, we present the possibility of creating, hosting and sharing interactive applications fueled by AI directly in the Claude application. From now on, developers can be more quickly on their AI applications without worrying about the complexity and cost of the scale for an increasing audience.
Create and accommodate applications powered by Claude
Here is what we have built: Claude can now create artifacts that interact with Claude via an API – transforming these artefacts into Applications Figured by AI, where the economy really works for sharing.
When someone uses your application powered by Claude:
- They authenticate with their existing Claude account
- Their use of the API counts against their Subscription, not yours
- You don’t pay anything for their use
- No one needs to manage API keys
Claude writes of the real code which orchestrates the complex functionalities of the AI. You can see, modify and share it freely.
Community ideas
The first users have already used interactive artifacts to build:
- Games fed by AI with NPCs who remember conversations and adapt to the choices of players
- Learning tools which adapt to individual skill levels and provide personalized tutoring
- Data analysis applications where users download CSVs and ask natural language monitoring questions
- Writing assistants who help everything, scripts for technical documentation
- Agent workflow who orchestrate several Claude calls for complex tasks
To start
Start building in the Claude application by allowing this new interactive capacity. Just describe what you want to create, and Claude will write the code for you.
When you work together, Claude can debug and improve his own code according to your comments. Once your application is ready, you can share it instantly via a link – no necessary deployment process. Claude takes care of technical details such as fast engineering, error management and orchestration logic, allowing you to focus entirely on the life of your idea.
What you can do:
- Use a Claude API in your artefacts
- Treat files and create rich user interfaces with React
- See, fork and personalize any artifact
Current limits:
- No external API call (still)
- No persistent storage
- Limited to a completion -based completion
This capacity is available in beta for free, pro and max plan users.
