Android Circuit is there to remind you of some of the many discussions around Android in the last seven days. You can also read my Apple News weekly digests here on Forbes.
Galaxy S26 + Surprise
The release of Samsung from the Galaxy S25 EDGE at the beginning of the summer of 2025 launched a burst of thin phones that came to a crescendo with iPhone air. All are filled with new technologies and technologies to reduce depth, but do they sell? Samsung had to abandon its model more and launch the Galaxy S26 family with three models; Vanilla, edge and ultra. Elec reports that, due to bad sales of the S25 Edge, Samsung has Restart development of the Galaxy S26 + Before the first launch event of Galaxy unpacked in 2026.
Pixel 10a launch date
Google has traditionally launched a “A” version of its Pixel handsets approximately 8 months after the main line-Pixel 9a was announced on March 19, 2025, after the launch of Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro on August 13, 2024. Will Pixel 10A remain in the calendars, or will it arrive earlier? Nickolas Diaz of Android titles discusses the potential of The 10a pixel arriving before the end of 2025. This would put pressure on the Samsung Galaxy S26 family, planned for a launch at the beginning of 2026, and the iPhone 17th of Apple scheduled for March 2026.
Confirmed OnePlus 15 details
OnePlus has announced the next OnePlus 15 smartphone. The phone has not yet been published, so judging the impact of the new protective ceramic covering will have to wait a little longer. Before that, the main contributor of Forbes, David Phelan, stressed the importance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 which is at the heart of new smartphones. It will be one of the first handsets to use the new flagship product, with an improved capacity for local AI treatment and improved performance.
Headlight killer of Xiamoi 15t Pro
What is the right decision to make when you launch a flagship smartphone? Launch a flagship killer at the same time! This is the strategy used by Xiaomi with the launch of the Xiaomi 17 family (flagship products) and Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro (The Flagship-Killers). By focusing on the design of the smartphone, I examined more closely on the 15t Pro earlier this week.
An operating system powered by AI of nothing?
Nothing of the technology said that it was necessary “the first step towards a system of a native operating”, although it is noted that the first steps are not really an operating system. Rather, this is an application shop called Playground which presents applications created by the essential application tool of Nothing which builds simple applications from written prompts. Robert Hart on the penis looks at the impact that Mobile applications generated by Ai-Ai Could have in the future and the early implementation that nothing is displayed.
Google responds to certain concerns of developers
Google responded to certain concerns about its plans Force the development of the developer throughout the Android ecosystem. An upcoming requirement will be that each application – not only that published in the Google Play Store – will have to be signed by Google and each developer creating an verified account which identifies them with Google.
It is this problem that many think it is problematic. Writing on the Android Developer blog, the Google State team “We want to make sure that if you download an application, it’s really developer, it claims to be published, no matter where you get the application.”
And finally …
The history of smartphones has many important steps along the way, including those of companies such as Apple, Samsung, Nokia and Blackberry. There are more minor roads which have been taken but which have never explored carefully. Joe Fedwa looks back on such a missed opportunity, as he recalls the next Robin. Launched in 2016, the Robin was built to rely on cloud storage for everything – a concept that has undoubtedly become more widespread years later. However, Nextbit never lasted the trip.
