After other user interface adjustments in recent months, emoji, gif, sticker and emoticon picker in Gboard have received a little overhaul.
To start, Google deleted the “everything” interface that showed recent emoji, Emoji cuisine creations and GIFs.

At the bottom of the screen, the emoji, gif, sticker and emoticon buttons are now placed in rounded rectangles, which corresponds to the general design of other tools / keyboard shortcuts. (The command was also reorganized.) It is a carousel (with the last section possibly off screen), while “ABC” is placed in a pill and the deletion key has been deleted. With this new approach, touch targets are much larger than before.
Meanwhile, the user interface of the toolbar at the top of each page is now flat instead of raised.

We see this overhaul of emoji, gif, etc. Latest beta versionOn phones and pixel tablets. Overall, it is a simple modernization that cleanses the Google keyboard application for Android.
