After Gmail and Docs, Gemini arrives on Google Drive for Android and iOS. This integration Allows users “Ask questions about their files and folders and receive conversational answers.”
On mobile, Gemini can:
- Summarize a file, a folder or information on several files.
- Recover quick facts on a project or subject without the need to find and read the relevant documents.
- Ask questions about the files.
- Find a file or folder.
- Summarize and ask questions about your images.
Gemini are accessible from several places, including the upper right corner of the application (to ask questions about the files), in the viewer of documents and the overflowing menus. You can also get a “summarizing this file” chip at the bottom of the screen.
All these access points slide open a lower sheet to enter the prompts and browse the answers. In addition to Google AI Pro and Ai Ultra subscribers, this is available for the next workspace levels:
- Commercial standard and more
- Standard company and more
- Google Ai Pro for Education
Gemini in the Google Drive mobile application takes place in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, Google is leading Its Nano Banana image editing model with slides and empty. You will see “an improved quality of image editing to make you easier to give life to your ideas”. This allows you to modify images with personalized prompts. For example:
- Go to a product pulled in the studio
- Replace the background with a night sky and a few stars
This now takes place in AI Pro / Ultra subscribers and customers of the workspace.
