In addition to the shortcut of the widget, Google invoices the AI mode more quickly to access the search for a single key on Android and iOS.
Previously, the launch of the AI mode from the shortcut under the search bar in the Google application or the widget would bring you to an introductory home page. You will then have to touch the “Ask Ai” field before starting to type.
The opening of the AI mode now takes you immediately into the entrance area with the open keyboard. The header simply shows the ‘G’ logo (and the closing button), while the carousel of the suggested requests disappears after grasping the text for a minimalist look.
The previous home page is no longer available, you cannot quickly access the conversation history. Google tells us to expect direct access soon from the text field.
Old vs new
AI access to a tour is live on Google for Android And iOS. On this last platform, Google introduced a very elegant animation. The tapping of the Mode button has extended the usual search field to encompass your entire screen when the keyboard appears.
As this happens, there is a four -color glow around the expanding perimeter that looks very pretty. It fades just as everything is adjusted, while the closing of the AI mode also leads to a visual effect. There is no equivalent animation on Android at the moment, but there are other colorful touches.
This follows Google by abandoning the waiting list of laboratories for IA mode yesterday, while rethinking the office user interface with quick access to the history via a side panel and adding more visual elements for places and products. Google Lens Search on Mobile was introduced last month.
