During the longest, scrolling in Google Docs for Android would awkwardly absorb the research field under the system status bar. An update today finally corrects this visual bug.
Previously, Google Docs, Sheets and the slides for Android had a transparent status bar. When scrolling in the list of documents, the search field moves at the top of the screen and is moored under the status bar.
As such, the clock is in front of the burger button, while the avatar of the account and the “Open to leave” menu appear awkwardly behind the state icons. The text “searching for documents” is obscured by all notifications. On some devices, the field is cut at random in half, while the screenshots do not show how it conflicts with the angle radius of certain screens. This problem is more visible with the dark theme of the activated system.
