Tl; DR
- Google invites the Pixel Superfans to apply to attend a Pixel Pre-Lacism event on June 27.
- Last year, the launch of Pixel 9 took place in August, after the launch years in October.
- With Android 16 scheduled for early June, a launch of the end of June / early July of 10 years feels plausible.
If you are not already a big fan of Pixel smartphones, it’s the year to start changing your melody. The Google movement to the fact that TSMC produces the Tensor G5 chip which will feed its Pixel 10 series has the potential to be the most impactful change that we have never seen with regard to the performance of pixels. And we are already very excited by Android 16, which is probably a few days to hit stable. So, with the software almost here, when can we expect the equipment to happen? We still have no specific date, but a new Google teaser has this launch which seems to be sooner than late.
Google’s Pixel Superfans program is exactly what it looks like and offers the most voracious pixel enthusiasts a chance to feel closer to the action than many smartphones users could never dream. This means sometimes having access to certain exclusive events, and earlier in the day, we became aware of a new message hitting the reception boxes of the Superfans:
Google invites them to ask for a chance to win one of the 25 locations to attend a pre-liberated pixel event scheduled for June 27. And although Google has not been released and said “Pixel 10” anywhere here, there is not really a long list of alternative devices that we could talk about.
You may remember that the last pixel launches took place in early October, although last year saw Google dramatically slide in August for the Pixel 9 series. This seems to be a model that continues, from the early release of the first overviews of Android 16, at the launch of Mars of the Pixel 9a – two months before the beginnings of the 8a pixel the previous year.
As such, it is not crazy to think of an introduction at the end of June / early July of the Pixel 10 family. We had struck August as a possibility before, but on the basis of what we see today, it seems that the Google calendar could be even more advanced.
Of course, it is possible that the Google commission here can hide a greater secrecy, and maybe it really has something that is not Pixel 10 to show. But on the basis of the momentum that we have witnessed in recent months of the Google slippery output programs earlier, the Pixel 10 is certainly the safe bet here. It is also possible that this early look that superfans gets is just very, very Early, and a launch of August could still be in the cards. I hope we will learn something a little more concrete in early June.
