The annual conference of Google developers – Google I / O 2025 – is expected to start on May 20. The 2 -day event will unveil several new software updates. Google has already shared that the event will focus on four areas: Android, AI, Web and Cloud. This means that the scene should introduce Android 16 and new features for Gemini AI. – Android 16: Android 16 has generated a considerable buzz in recent weeks, and it seems that this upcoming event could finally clarify speculation. Depending on the reports, the new operating system could include redesigned volume controls, a more refined user interface and upgrades to accessibility tools. It should also include support for health files, a more dynamic refresh rate and additional confidentiality and security improvements.
Based on rumors, Android 16 will introduce an advanced protection mode. This new safety feature is designed to provide users with an additional protective layer by tightening the device safety settings.
