Google announced Gemini for Home as well as a Google Home application earned earlier this month. Due to the major overhaul, the company has announced that it would deploy the integration of Gemini via an early access program for users of certain countries. From now on, those who have registered may want to check their reception box, because Google has started to grant access to Gemini for Home to certain users.
The integration of Gemini into Google Home promises a radically better intelligent house experience. Thanks to the superior understanding of the voice and the language of Gemini, it can deal with complex requests with more precision and take relevant measures. In addition, thanks to AI, the voice assistant can provide a summary of the video history of your camera, create home automation, and much more.
If you have registered in the Google Home early access program via the rethought home application, you may have a Google e-mail waiting in your reception box concerning the integration of Gemini for Home. This is distinct from the Google Home public preview program. So, if you have not already done so, register for the early access program from settings> early access to the Home application.
For the moment, access seems to be deploying selectively, so everyone will not receive the invitation immediately. It is also important to note that access will only be provided to users located in the United States.
Compatible devices that will work with Gemini for Home include Google Home, Home Mini (1st generation), Home Max, Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max, Nest Audio and Nest Wifi. Once deployed, Gemini will replace Google Assistant on your intelligent domestic apparatus. The AI -based vocal assistant will be extended to more countries in early 2026.
Advanced features will require a Home Premium or Advanced subscription
The basic features of Gemini for Home such as rapid search, requests on the device, Gemini Live and the vocal command in real time are free. However, the advanced features such as the creation of automation via a simple voice command and the fact that Ask Home memorizes your personal preferences are linked to Google Home Premium. Google brings together this subscription with its AI Pro and Ultra packages.
There is another more advanced level: Google Home Premium Advanced, with advantages such as descriptions and notifications of AI, and Home Brief. It costs an additional $ 10 for AI pro and Ultra users.
